Barbara Caffrey Obituary

Born in Phoenixville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas A. Sr. and Florence M. (Hitman) Taggart.
Barbara was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Spring City. She attended grade school at St. Ann's in Phoenixville, and a 1953 graduate of Phoenixville High School.
Surviving are her sons Lawrence E. Caffrey husband of Katie and Michael T. Caffrey husband of Terry; daughters Lisa A. Fresch wife of Mark and Barbara A. Caffrey wife of Denise; grandchildren Liam Caffrey, Amelia Fresch, Silas Fresch; and greatgrandchildren Andrew and Shelby Pearl. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held Thursday August 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 3640 Schuylkill Rd., Spring City, PA 19475. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Southeastern Veterans Center, 1 Veterans Dr., Spring City, PA 19475.
