Barbara L. Campau

Barbara was born on January 2, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on May 24, 2024 at Corewell Health Trenton at the age of 83. Beloved wife of 63 years to Edward. Cherished Mom of Edward (Sandra), Michael (Carmen), Kimberly (Walter) Babinski, Danielle (Kenneth) Dobija and Andrea Campau. Proud Bubba to 9 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Dearest sister of Ann (the late Robert) Moos and Katherine (the late Gerald) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her parents Morris and Adela (Clemens) Labowitch; her sister Pal and 3 brothers Mike, Joe, and Tom. Also survived by her nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends. Barbara graduated in 1958 from All Saints High School in Detroit and retired from the City of Southgate where she served as Assistant Finance Director. Her family was her love in life and she cherished being with them. Visitation is on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 3 – 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. The funeral service is on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10 am at the funeral home; Fr. Gregory Banazak will officiate. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown, Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
