Barbara Jean Campbell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Jean Campbell, who left this world on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the age of 68 years and 8 months. Born in Springfield, MO, on July 15, 1957, to Walton "Walt" Gene and Juanita Ray (Quick) Krumholz. Barbara was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother "Nana", sister, and friend, whose spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Barbara was united in marriage to Jeff Campbell September 20, 1974. She dedicated much of her life to her work as a secretary in the auto repair industry, where she worked lovingly at Bob's Automotive, and as Co-owner of J&B BBQ with Jeff. Her hard work and unwavering dedication earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues, as she brought warmth and kindness to the workplace.

Barbara and Jeff enjoyed competing, judging, and attending BBQ competitions throughout the mid-west for over three decades.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Walton "Walt" Gene Krumholz and Juanita Ray (Quick) Chaloud; stepmother Marie Krumholz; a sister Virgina Krumholz; a sister in-law Linda Krumholz; and a stepsister Coleen Cron Barham.

Barbara is survived by her beloved husband, Jeffrey Campbell; their son, Jeffrey Campbell (Brenna); her cherished grandchildren: Kyle Campbell, and Makayla Campbell; five great grandchildren; two brothers: Danny Krumholz, and Mike Chaloud (Rachel); two sisters: Debbie Duvall (Don), and Shelly Ramsey (Eric); two stepsisters: Pat Corad, and Connie Rowland; as well as many other relatives and friends. She was a source of love and strength for her family, always encouraging them to pursue their dreams and supporting them with open arms.

The family will be holding funeral services to celebrate the life of Barbara Jean Campbell on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Pastor Laura Hobbs officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather in remembrance and reflection.
