Barbara Marie Celeste, Born on May 2, 1949 of Dedham MA, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025 after a long illness and a short time in hospice. Barbara was predeceased by her parents Sally Celeste and Charles Celeste of Dedham and is survived by her sister Carol Lovell of Bellingham MA and brother Robert Celeste of Falmouth MA. Barbara will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Barbara had many talents from cake decorating, sewing, painting, drawing, knitting, crocheting, hairdressing, and making Halloween costumes for all the family. For all her incredible talents, Barbara was always humble and never looked for personal recognition. Sharing her skills with a kind heart and true dedication. Everyone always waited to see what amazing cakes, costumes, or blankets she had put such care into creating for those she loved. She was especially fond of her niece, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, and great grand nieces. Barbara generously spent countless hours playing and crafting with them, filled with joy.
Barbara was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Dedham. She attended church faithfully each week as well as each Holy Day.
Barbara selflessly spent many years taking care of her parents and her cats Panda and Simon.
Barbara was truly one of a kind. So unique, thoughtful, sweet, and funny. She will surely be missed by all her family:
Carol and Jim Lovell, Bob and Elaine Celeste, niece Kerry Lovell- Hole, nephews Brian Lovell, Derek Celeste and Scott Celeste, and her grand nieces and grand nephews, Steven Hole, David Hole, Sophia Celeste, Anthony Celeste, Haylee Lovell, as well two great grand nieces, Emersyn Hole and Isabella Hole along with many cousins and close friends.
A Celebration Of Life will be held for Barbara at a later date.
