Barbara L. Cleaver, age 79 of Largo, FL formerly of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully on January 15, 2025. She was born October 17, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Thomas and Goldie (Walter) McFadden.
She loved painting and refurbishing furniture. Loved lunches with her girlfriends and spending time with her family. She was the most loving and caring person. Barbara was free spirited and had an energy about herself that lit up any room. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, walks on the beach, and caring for her fur babies. Barbara will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Tricia Ann Cleaver.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Tracey (Mark) Nesko and Tammy (Joseph) Landrum; grandchildren, Jessica (Lance) Poteet, Erica (Ernie) Remington, Jaqulyn (Ryan) Mangrum, Joseph (Melissa) Landrum, and Jennifer Landrum; great grandchildren, Liam Landrum, Mavis Landrum, Jaxon Landrum, Harbor Mangrum, Hadley-Mae Poteet, Holton Poteet, Hagan Poteet, and Everli Landrum; and numerous other family members and friends.
This world was better with her in it. She will be forever missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1-3pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 3pm at the funeral home. Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Barbara's honor to the American Breast Cancer Foundation and/or the Alzheimer's Association.
