Barbara's family is in deep sorrow for the loss of their amazing Mother, Sister, Wife, Granny, GeGe, and Aunt who went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on March 11, 2024. She was born to Alfred P. and Eva M Hatfield on February 2, 1937 in Gelina, KS. She was the 4th youngest of 9 children. She married Dale E. Connor on June 30, 1956 in Yuma, AZ. They had four children; Johnathon, Debra, Paulla, and Teresa.
Barbara loved her family and was the pillar of strength for all of them. She had a variety of hobbies which included putting puzzles together, gardening, remodeling her home, sewing, watching movies, and having BBQ's with the family.
She worked at JC Penny's for 22 years, while employed with them she received several awards for being top salesperson in the jewelry department, and her volume of credit card applications. After retiring from JC Penny's, she worked for the Clifton Walgreens for 10 years, she retired at the age of 73 from Walgreens.
Barbara is survived by her three daughters; Debra, Paulla, and Teresa (John), her younger brother Michael (Nan) Hatfield, grandchildren; Nathen, Jason, Tia, Whitney (Julio), Breanna (Dino), Johnny (Julie), 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, Dale, son Jonathon Grant, and great grandson John Vincent Barthalt III.
No memorial service at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hope West Hospice & Palliative Care in Barbara's name.
