With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved, Mandee Connor, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Born on April 16, 1979, she was 46 years old.
Mandee was born in Mt. Pleasant, PA, and grew up in Van Meter, PA. Mandee began high school at Belle Vernon High School, PA, and graduated from Estero High School, FL in 1997. In 2001, Mandee earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Southwest Florida International College. Mandee continued on in her success, sharing her captivating energy with others throughout her Marketing and Management career.
Mandee’s truest passion was her unconditional love and devotion to her children. She was a mother that even the greatest aspire to be, which extended to all children in her life. She loved hard and fought even harder for her family and friends.
Mandee loved to travel, from Disney trips and Taylor Swift concerts with her daughter, Karlee, to Paris and beyond with her husband and children. Mandee took every opportunity to visit her home state, spending time with loved ones and frequenting sports events with her son, Jimmy. She was an undeniable and unrelenting Steelers and Pirates fan. Mandee enjoyed everything from fishing to fast cars and fancy things. No challenge was too big for Mandee; she crushed any competition, and no cause was too small for her to lend her support.
Beautiful from her skin to her soul, Mandee’s smile and presence lit up the room. She was a fierce powerhouse, combining the perfect balance of resilience and vulnerability, ambition and compassion. She was professional with a side of quick-witted humor, traditional yet unconventional, systematic but spontaneous.
Mandee is survived by her loving husband, FMFD Battalion Chief James Connor Jr., and her two precious children, Jimmy Connor III and Karlee Connor. She is also remembered by her dad, Papa Joe Hampton, as well as a vast amount of family and friends, all with whom she leaves a lifelong supply of unforgettable memories. Mandee was predeceased by her father, Charles Zimmerman, and mother, Patricia Homer.
Mandee leaves our world a better place because of who she was, and what she shared, and her unforgettable spirit remains in our hearts and our memories, forever.
Mandee’s funeral will be held at St. John XXIII Catholic Church, 13060 Palomino Lane, Fort Myers, FL 33912, at 10:30am on Thursday, August 7, 2025, with a celebration of life/reception to follow.
