Jo Ann "Pooh" Paladino, 78, of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2025, at home following health complications. Born on July 4, 1947, in Elmira, New York, Jo Ann was a beacon of warmth and generosity, always opening her heart and home to anyone in need. She was a devoted sister, mother, and friend whose kindness touched countless lives.
Jo Ann spent her career working in hospital administration and billing, where her compassion extended to her colleagues and patients alike. She found great joy in spending time with her family, camping under the stars, traveling to the beach, and working on Diamond Dots. Listening to Gospel music and her church community were sources of inspiration and connection. Her husband Joseph predeceased JoAnn in 2015. Survivors include sister Charleen ( Keith ) of Florida. Children Tim ( Heather ),Tony ( Donna ),Shawna( Ray ),Tammy ( Pantera ) of North Carolina. 6 grandchildren . 1 great grandchild. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
