Mrs. Lisa Miller Stewart, age 55, of Sunset Beach, NC passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025. Lisa was born May 22, 1970 in Charlotte, NC to Doris June Messina Miller and Johnnie Hazel Miller II.
Lisa attended Independence High School in Charlotte, NC. Lisa began her career in health care as a phlebotomist at Novant Health. She also worked as a dialysis technician in the dialysis field for many years. She was most recently employed at Seaside Wellness of Shallotte, NC as a Chronic Care Case Manager.
Lisa was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. She always had a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. She could give advice or cause you to laugh, often times both. Lisa loved the beach, going to yard sales, and thrift stores. She could always find a bargain and always had an idea for re-purposing her finds.
Lisa is survived by her husband, the love of her life, Rodney Stewart, mother Doris June Messina Miller, son Keaton Alexander Messina Miller, brother Johnnie Hazel (Trey) Miller III, her beloved chihuahua, Chaka, "chosen" sister Nancy Nash and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father Johnnie Hazel Miller II and her infant son, Duncan Miller.
A graveside service will be held to honor Lisa on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 2PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens located at 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, NC
