Barbara June Taylor Coogle, 79, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.
Born on September 13, 1945, in Cordele, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John and Leila Taylor. Mrs. June worked in customer service for several years at Cooper Lighting, until she retired. She enjoyed going to the beach and to the mountains. She also loved to shop in flea markets and see what kind of treasures she could find. At a young age, her grandfather taught her how to clog, and she loved dancing ever since.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Coogle; her sons, Rodney Coogle (Renee), Nick Coogle, and Matt Coogle; her brother, Bobby Taylor; her sister-in-law, Joyce Lee; her Brother-in-law, Eugene Coogle (Joyce); her grandchildren, Hunter, Tyler, Gabe, and Nolan; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, John Lewis, and John Leamon; as well as her sister, Margie Felder.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, beginning at 1:00PM. The family asks that everyone please dress in casual attire for the service.
