It is with deep sadness and enduring love that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Cool of Las Vegas, Nevada, who peacefully entered eternal rest on February 21, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born on November 8, 1937, in Springfield, Ohio, Barbara-affectionately known as "Barb" and lovingly called "Barbie"- lived a life marked by compassion, courage, and unwavering dedication to others. Nursing was not simply her profession; it was her calling. For 47 remarkable years,she served in the medical field with skill and heart. From her time as an RN Care Flight nurse in Tampa, Florida, to her years as a respected Operating Room nurse in Las Vegas, Barb brought calm strength and expert care to every patient she encountered. She retired having made a profound difference in countless lives.
Family was the center of Barbara's world. She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Darin Cool; her beloved daughter-in-law, Jackie Cool; her cherished grandchildren, Jamie, Janalynn, and Amber Cool; her several beloved great-grandchildren; and her dear cousin and best friend, Peggy Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lucille Blair; her brother, John
Blair; and her son, Kevin Cool.
