Clinton, Pennsylvania, David lived a full and remarkable life of 89 years, inspiring all who knew him with his commitment to his trade and community.
David's journey began in the quiet town of Clinton, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. This foundation propelled him into a successful career as an iron worker, a profession he passionately devoted himself to through the Iron Workers' Union #79. His craftsmanship and expertise were instrumental in shaping many iconic structures, with one of his crowning achievements being his ownership of the company that constructed the legendary Loch Ness Monster rollercoaster at Busch Gardens-an enduring testament to his skill and vision.
David proudly served his country as a member of the Marine Corps for four years, embodying the values of honor, courage, and commitment. His service continued beyond the military and into the hearts of those he touched throughout his life. Friends and family remember him as an avid collector, always eager to share knowledge and engage in meaningful conversations. His friendliness and approachability left lasting impressions on everyone he met. He was also a proud member of the Masons.
Preceded in death by his beloved daughter Kerri, former spouse Marie, cherished parents Albert and Marguerite, cousin Dick, and best friend Manny and his inseparable buddy Shadow. David now reunites with them in peace. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication in the lives of his surviving daughters, Terri and Sherri (Ross); nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and his dear friend and next-door neighbor, Engel.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Instead, those who knew David are invited to celebrate his memory in their own special ways, remembering the warmth, generosity, and passion that he shared so freely.
