Nathan Frederick Domnick, born on December 8, 1972, passed away peacefully on March 12,
2026, at the age of 53. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories among family
and friends.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Domnick, whose memory he held dear
throughout his life. He is survived by his loving wife and partner in crime, Roxanne Domnick,
who stood by his side through life's many adventures. Nathan's enduring love and guidance will
be forever remembered by his two sons, Alexander Domnick and Andrew (Mallory) Domnick and his bonus
children, Nicole (Ian) and Cody, and his beloved grandchildren, Olivia and Leo, who brought immense
joy to his life.
Nathan's devoted mother, Linda Domnick, and his brother Alan (Jen) Domnick will
deeply feel his absence along with a host of other relatives.
Nathan grew up throughout the Midwest and last resided in
Rochester, Minnesota, before
honorably serving in the United States Navy. From his years of service as an Electronics
Technician for twenty years, Nathan's journey was marked by dedication and commitment.
After retiring in 2016, he embraced life with Roxanne, cherishing each moment they spent
together.
An avid motorcycle rider, Nathan never missed an opportunity to enjoy the open road
with members of the Tidewater HOG Chapter out of the Southside Harley-Davidson dealership.
A lover of cats, Nathan found great joy in his feline companions as he enjoyed being a cat dad.
He was a supportive father, a devoted son, and a loving husband who appreciated life's simple
pleasures, from live concerts and metal music to playing video games with his grandson. He enjoyed the quiet weekends just smoking some meats and cheeses. His quiet sense of humor and unending patience
endeared him to all who knew him.
Nathan's selflessness extended beyond this life, as he chose to donate his organs and body to
further medical research. Though words cannot fully capture the essence of such an amazing
man or catalog a life well spent, Nathans legacy will endure in the hearts of his close-knit family
and widespread friends.
He will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will live on in the many lives he touched.
A service will be held at Altmeyer Funeral Home at 5033 Rouse Dr.,
Virginia Beach, VA, 23462, on April 18, 2026, at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Virginia Beach SPCA to honor Nathan's love for animals. Here is the link to donate if you would like to contribute: https://www.tmcfunding.com/funds/nathan-domnick/15718/
