Barbara Copson Obituary
She was born in Brownwood, TX and preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Lawrence W. and Irene Schmitt.
Barbara loved reading all types of books and completing crossword and Sudoku puzzles. She enjoyed listening to oldies 50's music. Christmas was her favorite time of the year and she especially enjoyed giving gifts to her grandchildren and all children. Family time was her greatest joy. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Barbara was predeceased by her adoptive parents; her beloved husband, Robert Joseph Copson, Sr. and son, James E. Copson.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her loving son and daughter-in-law, with whom she lived, Robert Joseph Copson, Jr. and Darlene; brother, Lawrence Schmitt (Norma); grandchildren, Robert J. Copson, III (Lyrisa) and Rebecca L. Copson; great-grandchild, Delaney Copson; grandchildren, David McKinstry and Kaitlin McKinstry; her constant companion and four-legged best friend, Coco; and her extended relatives, the members of Darlene's family.
Family and friends are welcomed to her visitation on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Molden Funeral Chapel, 133 Otter Street, Bristol, PA 19007. Her funeral service will follow from 10:30 am to 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Bristol Cemetery, Route 13 and 413, Croydon, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org or the food pantry at "Eddington Presbyterian Church", 3650 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020.
