Barbara Sue Crabtree, 78, of Lerona WV passed away surrounded by loved ones at home on Tuesday December 23 2025. Born October 2nd 1947 in Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Effie Phillips. Barbara spent a majority of her time as a stay at home caregiver for her sister Anna. She enjoyed watching QVC and spending time with her great grandson Easton. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Albert Crabtree, son in law Earl Reed, sister Connie Howerton, Brothers Luther and Donnie Phillips, sister in law Helen Phillips, Brother in law Micheal Dillon and Niece Marsha Walls. Left to cherish her memory is her special sister Anna Phillips of the home. Her daughter Catherine Reed, Grand daughter Amy Neal(Cody) and Great Grandson Easton Neal. Her son John Dorning (Sherry) and their Children/Grandchildren. Her Siblings Patty England(Walton), Kathy Dillon, Betty Phillips, and Bill Phillips(Sandy). Along with numerous nieces, nephews. extended family and friends. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the Hospice statff who provided excellent care for Barbara. In line with Barbara’s wishes there will be no services.
