Esther Lee Crabtree

Esther L. (Martin) Crabtree, age 95, passed peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at her residence. Born September 15, 1930 to Clarence and Elsie (Riggenbach) Martin, she was a long time member of McKendree United Methodist Church, and most recently the Church of the Good Shepherd. She volunteered at Riverside Methodist Hospital for 30 years on the open heart surgery floor, and was also in the Riverside Sewing Guild for 30 years. She was also a chairman for the American Heart Association for many years. After her three boys were in school, she worked at OSU for 30 years as a secretary.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert H. Crabtree, and her first grandson, Matthew. She is survived by sons, Steven (Frances), Jerry (Patricia), Scott; grandchildren Marcus (Elizabeth), Rebecca, and Eric (Hannah); great-grandchildren Harper, Bodie, and Nora.

Funeral Service 11:00 AM Thursday, February 19, 2026 at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio 43085. Burial will follow in Kingwood Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 9:00 am until service time.
