Russell Snodgres

Russell Lowell Snodgres, age 90 of Columbus, died February 9, 2026 at his home. He was born in Columbus Ohio to the late Arnold and Fern (Townsend) Snodgres. He retired from Local #19 Operating Engineers as a heavy equipment operator after more than 30 years. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold F. Snodgres, mother Fern Snodgres, loving wife Shirley, daughter Lynda Levingston, Step-son William Wright, brother Larry Snodgres, grandsons Michael Snodgres, Christopher Wright, sister Marilyn Crider, and daughters-in-law Becky and Shari Snodgres. Russell is survived by his sons Ronald, Russell, and Rodney Snodgres, grandchildren William (Mercedes) Snodgres, Ciera, greatgrandchildren Navianna, Christian, Gracie, and Dalila, and numerous nieces and nephews. Russell was a member of the Glen Echo United Presbyterian Church. Friends may call on Sunday February 15, 2026 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street in Worthington where a funeral service will be held at 4:00pm with Pastor Leland Platt officiating.
