Shirley Snodgres Obituary
Shirley Anne Snodgres, age 78, of Columbus, passed away on August 12, 2017 at the Kobacker House. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 10, 1938 to Thomas and Bessie (Foreman) Smith. Shirley was a member of Glen Echo United Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Rose Marie Adams, son William Wright and grandsons Christopher Wright, and Michael T. Snodgres. Surviving is her husband, Russell L. Snodgres; step-sons, Ronald (Becky), Russell (Shari) and Rodney Snodgres; grandson, William; granddaughters, Kelcie and Ciera; great-grandchildren, Navianna and Christian; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Friends and Family may call from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home immediately after the visitation at 7 p.m. Rev. Lee Platt will be conducting the service. Burial will be later in Beckett Cemetery in Commercial Point, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Shirley's memory to Glen Echo United Presbyterian Church, 220 Cliffside Dr., Columbus, OH 43202 or the Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Dr, Columbus, OH 43214.

Dear Russ and Family,
So sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. She will be missed by everyone. Tim and I have fond memories of her at Glen Echo - as my 'pew buddy' in the back during services like for Lent/Easter, Advent/Christmas, Blue Christmas and some Sundays that we were able to attend (as we live outside of Columbus now)and when we were out at your house a handful of times to visit together....such a sweet presence and warmth that she left.
We will be thinking about you all at this time!
