Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Beatrice Gibbs, (Brother) Richard Gibbs
and his wife June Gibbs and (Niece) Linda Wolfe Snyder.
Jerry is survived by, his (Sister), Janet Wolfe of Columbus, Ohio. (Daughter) Lisa Gibbs of
Columbus, Ohio. (Son) Chris Gibbs and wife Penny of Johannesburg, South Africa.
(Grandson), Caleb and his wife McKenzie of Dayton, Ohio. (Granddaughter) Jacie Gibbs of
Johannesburg, South Africa. (Nephew) Rick Gibbs and his wife Jill Gibbs, (Niece) Patricia and
husband Phil Lechner, (Niece) Stephanie and husband Jeff Boden, (Niece) Lynn Leonard and
husband Kenny Leonard and (Niece) Rebecca Leonard and many great nieces and nephews
and former wife of 47 years, Susan Gibbs.
Viewing will be held at O.R. Woodward Funeral Home, 1346 S. High St, Columbus, Ohio 43207.
Viewing times: Thursday February 12th, 2026 from 4:00pm - 7:00pm
Friday 12:00 - 1:00pm
Funeral Service: Friday February 13, 2026 1:00pm
Internment to follow at Sunset Cemetery immediately following the service.
