Barbara Crow
Barbara Jean Crow, Age 84 at rest December 31, 2025, in Eagle Mountain, Utah. She was born January 23, 1941, in Harvey, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Crow, sister, Abigail Dwyer, and her parents, Alvin and Gladys Stiegman.
Survived by her siblings: Arlene Talbot, Robert Stiegman, Darryl (Arlene) Stiegman and Polly Loy. Children: Julie (Dale) Russell, Hans Crow and Andrew Dixon, and Heidi (Randy) Dettloff. Grandchildren: Lauren (Brandon) Petty, Caroline (Matt) Williams, Susan (Marc) Flores, Victoria Sullivan, Matthew Dettloff, Amanda Dettloff, Ellis Sullivan, Mary (Caleb) Wolfe, Emma Sullivan, and Jack Sullivan and seven great-grandchildren. A 1959 graduate of Thornton Township High School, Barb was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she spent years serving in the nursery. An active community volunteer, she delivered library books to Tillers Nursing Home and sang with the Oswego Senior Singers. Barb was a passionate Chicago Cubs fan, a trombone player, and an avid reader who loved dogs. In her later years in Washington, she enjoyed neighborhood Bible studies and visits with Gus the therapy dog. She was known for her outgoing spirit and her immense pride in her family.
A visitation for Barbara will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until time of memorial service 11:00 A.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
