Norman Eugene Crow, 88, of
Moundsville, WV, passed away with family by his side on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital - WVU.
He was born on April 8, 1937, a son of the late Arthur and Mary Bell (Whorton) Crow. After serving his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army, Norman embarked on a distinguished career with Bayer Chemical, where he worked diligently for 30 years before retiring.
Beyond his professional life, Norman was known for his love of sports and music. He was an avid golfer and bowler, and would often spend his weekends watching football and NASCAR, enjoying the thrill of the game and the spirit of competition. His fondness for karaoke brought joy to many gatherings, where he shared his love of music and laughter.
Norman was a valued member of several local organizations, including the American Legion Post 3, where he served as a past officer, the former Moose Club of Moundsville, and the former Eagles of Moundsville. He embraced the beauty of the fall season, finding peace and contentment in the changing leaves and crisp air.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his three brothers, Charles, Aldean and Roger Crow; his two sisters, Laura Mae Hartley and Sandra Kay Wright and his step-children, Mark Baker and Bridget (Mark) McCartney.
Norman is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Dorothy "Dottie" Jones Crow; his daughter, Leilani (Danny) Williams; a step-daughter, Tracy Greene; four grandchildren, Sean Warren, Morgan Watson, Dani Jo Simmons and Joell Baker; four great-grandchildren, Ace Nelson, Sophia, Garrett and Sawyer Simmons and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 1 pm until time of services at 3 pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Second St., Moundsville.
