Kay Magers Obituary
She was born in Tryon, NC, on November 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Carroll Francis and Helen Margaret (Christofferson) Leonard. Kay was a Seven Day Adventist by faith. After high school Kay went to college and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, a career she was extremely proud of. Her caring and nurturing spirit was felt by those who knew her, especially her children, whom she cherished.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Ronald "John" Magers and her step-brother, Steve Kleppe.
Kay is survived by her son, Joe Dee Evans; Step-children, Roger Magers, Jim Magers and Laura Magers; her granddaughter, Charlotte Evans; her siblings, Ross and Jan and her step-sister, Susan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
