Ms. Deville was a lifetime member of Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church and secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary for many years. Anyone who knew her knew she was a prayer warrior and a servant to her Lord and Savior. Those left to love and miss her are two sons, Roger Deville, and Tony Deville both of the Nebo Community, two daughters, Donna Kaye Walker (William), of Jena, and Tamara Deville, of Las Vegas, Nevada, nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, host of nieces, nephews and other family.
The family will receive friends at the Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church of the Sharptown Community, south of Jena, on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 5:00 PM-8:00 PM, and again on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until time of service.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Shady Grove United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Curtis Thornton, Rev. Larry Chapman, and Bro. Tracy Howard officiating.
Those honored to serve Ms. Barbara and her family as pallbearers will be Cale Deville, Cason Deville, Jansen Howard, Brady Howard, Memphis Huffman, and Brooks McCoy. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Deville, Darrell Collins, Ronnie Collins, Shaun Deville, Buddy Dupius, Tommy Gibson, Harvey Floyes, and Donnie Richardson.
