Barbara Dobbins Obituary
Born on March 31, 1949, to Courtney and Wilma (Martin) Haynes of Clinton, Missouri. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1967 and began her professional career at Bendix, Allied Signal and Honeywell. Barbara earned her engineering degree and a patent. Her dedication spanned 33 years, retiring in 2000. Barbara married Mick Dobbins on October 11, 1974. Her retirement was short. She joined the Internal Revenue Service in 2004, working until 2011. Following retirement, Barbara and Mick relocated to Goodyear, Arizona for a decade then moved back to Blue Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband Mick and both of her parents. Barbara is survived by several friends and her devoted caregiver Brenda Wilson.
In lieu of services, a celebration of life will be held on February 22, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00, at 597 SW 1601st Road, Holden, Missouri 64040.
Thank you to the staff of Monarch Hospice Care and Tiffany Springs Senior Living. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Humane Society.

I grew up across the street from Barb. All the neighborhood kids enjoyed our time together. The kids have all passed now. Thanks for the memories, Barb.
