Barbara Ann "Bunny" Dodson Doss

Barbara Ann "Bunny" Dodson Doss, 88, passed away March 2, 2024. She was surrounded by family when she went to be with her Lord.
Barbara was born in Birmingham, AL to Nolan Floyd Dodson and Wilburth Baker Dodson. She attended Phillips High School and was Class Vocalist. Following graduation, she worked at U.S. Pipe and Foundry and Progressive Farmer in Birmingham. She met her husband, George Thomas Doss, and started their long and beautiful life of 64 years.
Following marriage to George, they moved to Huntsville for many years. After her retirement, they moved to the small community of Hollytree in the Paint Rock Valley. She and George called this home for the past 34 years.
Barbara was an Executive Secretary in Huntsville for SDC (System Development Corp.), EMA (Electronic Manufacturer Agency), and finally REP, Inc., where she eventually retired.
Barbara is survived by her husband, George Thomas Doss; brother, Larry Dodson; children, Deborah Doss Olson, Thomas N. Doss, and Jonathon David Doss, as well as their spouses; eight grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
Barbara lived a beautiful long life and loved with everything she had. She raised a beautiful family and entertained with her humor and wit. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. There will be a private graveside service.
