Barbara Ellen Dollar, 74, passed away August 27, 2025, at her home in Great Bend, Kan. She was born May 30, 1951, in Houston, Texas, to Frank and Lillian (Cook) Dollar.

Barbara, a resident of Great Bend, was a homemaker and previously worked for Venture as a flagger. She enjoyed puzzles, bingo, and scoring deals at Wal Mart. Recently, her eyes were opened to travel, taking several family cruises.

Survivors include two daughters, Wendy Cousins (William) of Hoxie, Kan. and Beckie Eisenbarth (Tim Isern) of Wellington, Kan.; one son, Charles "J.R." Buck (Kristal) of Great Bend; 12 grandchildren, Jerrad Umphrey, Corie Umphrey, Tiffany Davis, Naomi Jordan, Jacob Jordan, Amber Jordan, Kody Cousins, Alexandria Cousins, Kylie Hurren, Trysten Schwenker, Emily Bond and Zoe Buck; six great grandchildren, Hazelyn Trimmer, Ajay Cousins, Piper Morales, Nevaeh Besser, Simon Besser and Eliott Martindale; and many siblings including one sister, Margaret Scott of Great Bend. She was preceded in passing by a grandson, Justin Umphrey.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, at Hoisington City Cemetery, Hoisington, with Pastor Al Hatten presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Barbara Dollar Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Rd., Great Bend, KS 67530.
