Barbara F. Domanico

Barbara F. Domanico, of Huntington Valley, PA died on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital. She was 82.
Born in Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence Kunda.
Barbara was born and raised in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and was a graduate of St. George's Elementary School and Little Flower High School for Girls.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Portone and her husband Robert Portone Jr, Andrea Simonsen and her husband Keith Simonsen and her sister Susan McKelvey and her husband Jack McKelvey of Estero, Florida. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Sabrina Cruz and her husband Mark, Robert Portone III, Justin Portone and his husband Brandon Grisoff, Connor Simonsen, and Caden Simonsen. She is also survived by four Great-grandchildren, Natalie, Anna, Joshua, and Michael. And her beloved and devoted pet companion, Lucy.
Barbara worked for Sosmetal as a Purchaser, GE in the Bindery Dept., and finally as a Crossing Guard for the City of Philadelphia, at Richmond Street and Castor Avenue.
She was also an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, playing cards with her family, shopping and lunch dates, vacationing in Wildwood indulging in Kohr's Brothers ice cream and funnel cake. But her happiest moments were spent with her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who she loved with all of her heart.
Her services and interment will be held privately.
