Barbara Ann Drvar, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away March 18, 2026, at Evergreen Assisted Living, with her loving husband, Mike, and daughter Tracy by her side. She was 77 years old.
Born on August 27, 1948, in Morgantown to Joseph and Lena Brewer, Barb was known for her outgoing personality and warm laugh that could brighten anyone's day, She dedicated over 30 years of her life to serving others as a Social Worker at Monongalia General Hospital. Barb's unwavering commitment to helping others left an impact on her patients and their families, as she consistently extended kindness and compassion. Barb's loyalty to her profession was only matched by her love for her family.
Barb is survived by her husband, Mike Drvar; her daughters, Tracy Casteel and Jennifer Wade (Brandon); three grandchildren, Gabriel, Mariska, and Zander Wade; her sister, Janet Petrucci (Jack); as well as a host of friends who will miss her dearly.
Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lena Brewer.
Forever remaining in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her, Barb's legacy of kindness and her joyful spirit will live on in the many lives she touched.
Honoring her wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to the Fred Jenkins Funeral Home. There will be no services.
