Barbara Jean Edgeman

Barbara Jean "MawMaw" Edgeman, age 90, of LaFayette, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2025. She was a member of Naomi Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, David Edgeman; grandson, Brian Edgeman; brothers, Don and Billy Drennon; sisters, Luetta Reynolds, Christine Edgeman, and Marie Drennon; and son-in-law, Skip Richardson.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Doris Richardson; son, Tommy (Deb) Edgeman; grandchildren, Stacie, Nathan, Caleb, Brittany, and Josh; great grandchildren, Mason, Ainsley, Levi, Tori, Eli, Zain, Zoey, Zylis, Zeke, Eleanor, Easton, Carter, Skipper, Jakera, Jayla, Journee, Blake, and Jakoby; sister, Betty Cox; several nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Cathy Edgeman.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 8, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastors Taylor Lones and Garland Hullender officiating.

Interment will take place at LaFayette Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Josh Edgeman, Jakoby Cottrell, Blake Edgeman, Nathan Smith, Caleb Hartshorn, and Eli Mitchell.

Visitation will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 7, at the funeral home.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
