Barbara Lee Flammang

With much sadness and eternal love we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Barbara Lee Flammang. Born to parents Charles Schellerer and Dixie Lee Stevens in Bluefield West Virginia, she moved to Chicago at the age of 4. Her first home in the City was 1 block from Wrigley Field, this helped to shape her life long love of the Chicago Cubs! At a young age she met James who she went on to be married to for several decades. Although they separated, they remained friends until James' death in 1989.
Upon her passing she went to join her husband James, son James (Rhonda) and daughter Teresa. She is survived by her daughter Debra (Frank), son Michael and son in law Fred. Also left to mourn her are her grandchildren Frank III (Victoria), Rosie (Rizwan), Ed, Cassandra (Dakota), Michael (Chelsea), Adam (Christina), James, Yovani, Jesus and several great grandchildren, siblings, cousins and great friends.
Barbara was a lover of all things Elvis Presley. She was a devoted Catholic and a real believer. We know that she has been welcomed into Heaven by the many family and friends who loved her and preceded her in death.
