Barbara G. (Tate) Flaurr, age 82, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Indianapolis. She was born in Crawfordsville on March 29, 1943 to the late John and Margaret (Beecher) Tate.
Barbara attended Alamo High School. She worked at Wabash College for over 20 years as a cook. Barbara married Ronald Flaurr on July 29, 1950. She was a member of the Eastern Stars. Barbara loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading romance novels and spending time outdoors in the sun.
Barbara will be deeply missed by her children, Shelly (Albert) Lowe and Ronald (Lucy) Flaurr Jr; 8 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death in death by her parents; her husband; son, John Robert Flaurr; and brother, John Tate.
