Barbara J Foley

Barbara J. Foley, 79 of Rossville, passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023, at Staten Island University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born Thursday, May 6, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy Andersen.
Barbara was the wife of the late Michael Foley.
Barbara gave so much love as a beautiful mother to her sons, Michael and Steven Foley, and her daughter-in-law, Veronica. She was a loving grandmother who will always mean the world to her grandchildren. She was a wonderful sister, aunt and friend to many.
Barbara loved to be with her family and friends. She looked forward to getting dressed up and going out to eat with them. As Barbara would always say, It s a special occasion Barbara had a smile that lit up the room. Her laughter spread happiness to everyone. Barbara also had a great time at Atlantic City.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday at St Thomas the Apostle Church located at 50 Maguire Avenue Staten Island, New York 10309. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, NY.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, February 6, 2023, at John Vincent Scalia Home for Funerals, Inc., 28 Eltingville Blvd, Staten Island, New York.
Donations in Barbara's memory may be made to The St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which was a charity dear to her heart.
