Her commitment to service shone brightly as she worked overnight with the OCAC Department, where her leadership skills came to the fore, eventually earning her the role of supervisor.

As Director, Barbara's profound impact on the lives of countless individuals and families was immeasurable. Her work in facilitating adoptions created lifelong bonds and brought joy to many. Barbara's legacy in the field of social work continued to flourish until her well-deserved retirement.
Barbara's interests extended beyond her professional life. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her family, her unwavering faith, and her generous spirit. Her kindness was a guiding light to all who knew her, and her strength was as much a part of her as her gentle smile.
