Thelma Miracle Class

Thelma Miracle Class, a cherished daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 40 in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born on February 17, 1985, in Brooklyn, New York, Thelma was an angel of light, love and joy to everyone who knew her.

In 1996, Thelma moved with her family to Middletown, New Jersey, where she continued to grow and flourish before finally settling in Holmdel with her family in 2025.

Thelma was predeceased by her father, Edwin Class Sr., and is survived by her devoted mother, Miriam Class. Her spirit lives on through her loving siblings: Her sister Jacqueline Burgas and her husband Henry, her sister Peggy Class and her husband Aramis, and her brother Edwin Lee Class Jr. and his partner Jacklyn. Thelma is also survived by her cherished nieces and nephews Kayla Burgas, Carlos Ortiz, Kelley Burgas, Sabrina Class, Christopher Class, Edwin "Reno" Class, Rico Gonzalez and Angelo Class also by her great-nieces and great-nephews Mia Class, Carlos Esteban Ortiz, Sebastian Class and Avery Demo who will miss her dearly.

Thelma touched and changed countless lives. She was fighting a lifelong battle due to her health disabilities, but yet remained strong and perseverant. She taught everyone around her how to see the beauty in small victories through her unconditional love, compassion, patience, bravery and devotion. Thelma lived up to her name, a true MIRACLE defying many odds. We all were very fortunate and blessed to have had her in our lives. She will leave behind a legacy of unconditional love that will continue and resonate through everyone that has crossed her path.

As we bid farewell to Thelma, we celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless lives she touched with her angelic smile and pure heart. She will be able to rest alongside her dad and loved ones. Thelma's memory will be forever cherished in all of our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 2nd, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 3269 State Highway/ Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey, 07730. A prayer service will be offered during the evening visitation on Monday, February 2nd, 2026. Thelma's interment will follow at Fair View Cemetery 456 Highway 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07730.
