Mrs Barbara Gillham, age 77, passed away at her home in Humboldt, TN on Saturday, November 15, 2025 with family by her side. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Barbara was born in Bradford, TN to the late Joe Mathis, Jr. and Rosa Lee Howell Mathis. She graduated from Peabody High School in Trenton, TN “Class of 65” and went on to complete a business degree. For 42 years Barbara worked as Director of Medical Records for Gibson General Hospital before retiring. When not working and after retiring, she enjoyed reading and journaling, flower and vegetable gardening, and was an avid animal lover; but most of all she enjoyed her family, especially the grands.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, John T. Berry, III.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 12 years, David Gillham; son, Joe Wright; daughter, LeAnn Reasons and fiancé Joe Pruitt; step-son, Jarice Gillham; step-daughter Celesta Pawn Clark (Jeff); grandchildren, Samantha Janes, Alexis Berry, Allison Bell (J.C.); great grandchildren, Zachary Janes, Jaxson Janes, Caysen McKinney, Colsen Blackman.
