BEING APD MOTORCYCLE COPS IN DIFFERENT GENERATIONS , I MET MR BOB THROUGH ANOTHER MOTOR OFFICER, WHO PASSED AWAY ON JUL 26 2025, P.D. SPIVEY. WE WERE PARTNERS AND FRIENDS FOR 50 YEARS. DANNY INTRODUCED ME TO BOB. DANNY(OR PAUL AS BOB KNEW HIM) MET BECAUSE OF LOVE OF HORSES. WE TRIED TO EAT ONCE A WEEK AT TIM'S COUNTRY KITCHEN BUFFETT IN FAYETTEVILLE AND RELIVE OLD AND GOOD TIME'S. BELIEVE ME, MR. BOB HAD A BUNCH OF STORIES. HE WAS A VERY GOOD MAN AND I WILL MISS HIM AND DANNY(PAUL) AND MY MOTOR SGT, B.J. RICKETT, WHO WE PUT TO REST A COUPLE WEEKS AGO IN HIRAM. NOT FUN GETTING OLD, BUT WE ALL MUST PASS IN OUR TIME. I LOVED THESE GUYS AS MEN AND FRIENDS AND HOPE BOB HAS A SAFE JOURNEY HOME TO HIS HEAVENLY FATHER. IN TIME WE ALL WILL MAKE THAT JOURNEY. BROTHER BOB, AS SPIVEY USED TO SAY, KEEP IT BETWEEN THE WHITE LINES!!! AMEN BROTHER

I have known Bobby since we were both born in 1935 and lived next door until my family moved in 1944. We took tap dancing and expression together as pre-schoolers. We always went to the double feature on Saturday and loved all the Western stars. We continued our friendship through the years and the last visit in person was for his 70 th Birthday at his ranch in Fairburn. In his last year we often called one another just to say Hi and always ended our conversation with" I love you". I will miss him but so fortunate to have been his close friend. His mother Pearl and my mother remained best friends for many long years.I have sent a few photos of us to Scott.
