Barbara Ann Graves

Barbara Ann (DeLong) Graves, 71, of Accokeek, MD passed away on April 10, 2025 at Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center, Fort Washington, MD.
Barbara was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana on March 8, 1954 to Margaret Mary (Kendall) and Robert Warren DeLong.
Barbara took great pride in caring for her home and raising her family. She enjoyed bingo, arts and crafts, and working in her flower gardens. She had an eye for interior decorating. She loved her family and spending as much time with them as she could.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Jason Graves; brothers; James "Jimmy" DeLong, and Robert DeLong, Jr.; and sister, Mary Hickey.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Douglas G. Graves, daughter, Faith (Graves) and her husband Floyd, grandchildren Rebecca Kane and her fiancé Robert Oyaski, Samantha Lee and her husband Kevin, LeAnna Gillis, Amalia Gillis, and Garrett Gillis, Great-grandchild, Arabella Oyaski, sister, Kathy Hain and her husband Bruce, brothers, Kevin DeLong, and Phillip DeLong and his wife Debbie; brother in-law, Wayne Hickey, Sister In-law Margie Shorb, Brother In-law Michael Montgomery and his wife Kathy, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Ave, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will be private.
