BARBARA JEAN GREEN
November 1, 1938 - February 9, 2026
Barbara went home to be with Jesus on February 9, 2026 at the age of 87.
Barbara was born to Oliver Jemison and Lena Marguerite Morgan on November 1, 1938 in Mobile, Alabama.
Barbara met her husband David Hector Green and went on to raise 4 children Harris Milton Robinson Jr., Cynthia Green Givens, John David Green and Michael Todd Green. Barbara lived her life as a wife and mother. During this time she traveled throughout the United States enjoying the historical sites and also visiting Canada.
She and David also enjoyed camping and fishing. In addition to being a wife and mother, Barbara also loved cooking, working with flowers to make beautiful arrangements and center pieces as a floral designer in numerous florist around Mobile, Alabama, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Texas and Ohio, she enjoyed traveling and making ceramics. She loved Dark cherry ice cream and also Crab claws.
Throughout her life, Barbara held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her.
Barbara joins her loving husband David Hector Green and her parents, Oliver Jemison and Lena Marguerite (Margaret) Morgan, her siblings, Myra Stewart, James (Jim) Morgan, Jerry Morgan, Elizabeth McDuffie, Carolyn Williamson and Ilene Al Azzah in Heaven.
Barbara is survived by her 4 children Harris Milton Robinson Jr., Cynthia Green Givens (Dale), John David Green and Michael Todd Green. 8 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Jeremy Givens, Titus Phillips, Eli Younge, Jerred Robinson, Louis (Skeet) Revette and Brad Gantt Sr.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kolby Givens, Chase Givens and Bradley Gantt Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on February 20, 2026 at 12:00 P.M.at Mobile Memorial Gardens
Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens
Cemetery. Visitation will be held the same day at 11:00 A.M., Family will meet at 10:30 A.M.
