Barbara Radzimoski Groll, age 71, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully at 8:11 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Legacy healthcare center in Perrysburg after a long illness. She was born on December 4, 1953, in Toledo to Mary Catherine (Caseman) and George Radzimoski. A graduate of Rogers High school, she was lovingly known as "Barney" to all of her closest friends.
Barb loved to cook and bake from scratch and was happy to share many of her mom's favorite recipes. She definitely kept the Polish traditions alive. Barb was never happier than when she was spending time with her beloved pets, including the strays that found their way to her home. Somehow, they just knew she would look after them with unconditional love.
Barb is survived by her loving husband of 20+ years Robert Groll, beloved son, Mike (Jen) Radzimoski; stepchildren, Paula (Ron) Mowery, Rob (Shelly) Groll and Time Groll; granddaughter, Riley; sister Jean Vermilyea, special nieces Yvette Molnar McCourt & Rayanne Staler; nephew Tony Radzimoski; great nephews/nieces, aunts, many cousins, and loyal long-time friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Charles and Richard, all of whom she missed terribly.
Barb traveled and navigated an extremely difficult road the past few years. Her reward for all the suffering she endured has been repaid tenfold, as now she enjoys her eternal reward with our loving God. No more pain or sorrow, no restrictions whatsoever. She is now able to fly free. Barb will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Without a doubt, she will also be looking out for all of us.
Barb's wish was to be cremated. At her request, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements to be handled by Freck Funeral Chapel in Oregon, Ohio.
