Barbara Ann Hamernick

DALMATIA-Barbara A. Hamernick (nee Britton) a long-time resident of Dalmatia Pa, passed away on Saturday October 26, 2024. Born in New Jersey and raised in Eatontown. She was 85 years of age.
She loved to cook, bake, and organize social get togethers for family and friends. Barb could often be found helping others in her retirement community or visiting her neighbors. During her free time, you could find her reading many a book with her beloved dog Sophie always by her side.
Barbara was the personnel manager at J. C. Penny at the Susquehanna Valley Mall for more than 25 years before retiring. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Helen and George Ellsworth Britton.
Barbara is predeceased by her beloved husband, George Hamernick, two brothers Charles Britton, & James Britton.
She is survived by her loving children, Cindy & James Klinger of Hughesville, Pa, George & Mary Hamernick of Shamong, NJ; her cherished grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Marci Klinger of Muncy, PA., Dawn & her husband Bryan Todero of Shamong, NJ, & Sarah & her husband Mathew Flynn of Hopewell, NJ. She is also survived by her adored great grandchildren, Mason and Jackson Klinger, Ben and Zach Todero, & Norah Flynn.
Interment in Adelphia Cemetery, Adelphia, NJ at a later date.
Donations in Barbara's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A memorial will be held at the families convenience.
