Leo Joseph Hirsch, 87, of Millersburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on February 20, 2026, at his home in Millersburg. He was born in Lykens on December 30, 1938, a son of Lillian and John Hirsch. Leo Joseph Hirsch was retired from Moyer Packing Company, Elizabethville. After retirement he cut grass, drove for Schlegel Transportation Service hauling the high school and Amish children.

He was a member of St. Peter UCC, Lykens Township, a life member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Millersburg Lodge # 59 and the Millersburg Gun Club. Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, spending time with his family and friends, collecting patches from the Ned Smith Center and the Game Commission. The Church family was very special to him at St. Peter's UCC.

Leo is survived by his Spouse, Barbara Gallagher-Hartman; Daughter, Holly Hirsch; Son, Joseph (Debbie) Hirsch; Daughter, Jamie Webster; Step-son, Charles Hammaker; Step-daughter, Karen Fetterolf; Step-daughter, Mary Hammaker; Step-daughter, Pamela Simpson; Step-son, John (Amanda) Hartman, Jr.; Step-son, Matthew (Jennifer) Hartman; Step-granddaughter, Mary (Ben) Campbell; Step-son, Benjamin (Felisha) Hartman; Step-daughter, Gabrielle (Matt) Reiley; twenty two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; Brother, Ronald Hirsch; Sister, Donna Zuber-Witmer. He was preceded in death by father, John Hirsch; mother, Lillian James-Hirsch-Byerly; wife, Alice Hammaker-Hirsch; brother, James Hirsch; sister, Patricia Herb; step-son, Robert Hammaker; step-son, Allan Hammaker.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, 26th of February, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peters United Church of Christ, Lykens, Pennsylvania. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the St. Peters United Church of Christ, Lykens, Pennsylvania. Interment will take place in the Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax, Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter's United Church of Christ.
