Inez M Deppen

Inez M Deppen, 62, Dalmatia, passed away on February 6, 2026, at her home. She was born in Harrisburg on August 23, 1963, a daughter of Charlotte and Larry Alvord.

She was a member of Trinity UCC, Dalmatia and the Ladies Auxiliary Post 504, Mandata. Inez was a treasurer for Trinity UCC. Inez was a 1981 graduate of Line Mountain High School and had an Associates Degree from HACC in Early Childhood Education.

Inez was a daycare teacher for many years. She loved working with the young children and watching them grow in to young students, then seeing their accomplishments later in life. Later in her career she changed gears and went to work for Deppen's Farm. She loved to take pictures and collect items for scrap-booking. Inez loved following Collin's after school and out of school activates, she never missed one.

Inez is survived by her husband, Thomas Deppen; son, Collin Deppen; father, Larry Alvord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte (Alleman) Alvord; step-mother, Jean (Reigle) Alvord; grandparents, Carl and Miriam Alvord and Charles III and Gladys Alleman.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Trinity UCC, Dalmatia. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Trinity Church Cemetery, Dalmatia.
