Ray was well known for his knowledge of local history and family genealogy. He loved to tell stories and lived on the family farm for over 96 years.
Ray is survived by his brother, Guy (Deb) Davis; sister, Anna Byerly; thirteen nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews and Dolly's three daughters. He was preceded in death his by father, Belton Davis; mother, Katie Fetter; brothers, Leon Davis, Harold Davis, Lawrence Davis and his companion, Dolly Brosius.
A visitation will be held on Friday, 8th of May, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Community Church, Herndon. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in the Salem Church Cemetery, Klingerstown.
