Anna Jane Zerbe, 90. of Dornsife, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2025 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Trevorton, Pa.
She was born on Oct. 11,1935. in Pillow, Pa., and was the daughter of the late Edwin A and Carrie Mae (Snyder) Witmer.
Anna was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ of Dalmatia, Pa., the Eastern Star Lodge of Millersburg, Pa., and Rebecca Lodge of Dornsife, Pa. She worked at Muskin, Prenzel and Codi Case Factories as a seamstress and ended her career working for Troutman's French Fries in Dornsife, Pa., where she especially loved greeting and serving the community at the Gratz Auction on Friday evenings.
Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed reading and journeys with her husband, family and friends whether to far away destinations or daily local adventures.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 46 years, Paul R Zerbe on May 15, 2000, and two brothers, Charles Witmer and Clyde Witmer. She is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Jeanne) Zerbe of Lake Mary, Fla., and Daniel (Kim) Zerbe of Hughesville, Pa.; one brother Nevin (Violet); four sisters, Mary Schade, Virginia (Bruce) Shomper, Martha Koppenhaver and Rosalie Shaw; four grandchildren Molly (Nick) Johnson, Patrick (Jessica) Zerbe, Seth Zerbe and Ethan Zerbe; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would especially like to thank the amazing nursing and staff support from Hospice of Geisinger, Mountain View and Polk Assisted Living as well as her neighbors and friends in Dornsife, for their loving care.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Zweier Funeral Home, Sunbury.
