Barbara Hart

Barbara Hart, 61, of Sundown, TX, went to be with the Lord, her husband, and parents on August 17, 2025. Barbara was born in Long Island, New York, on February 10, 1964, to Herbert and Joan Lemaire. She was one of seven kids.

Barbara and her family moved around a lot and eventually made her way to Texas. In 1990, she was blessed with her son Matthew Lemaire. She was working for WalMart in Odessa, where she met the love of her life, Randy Hart. Randy had two sons, Thomas and Ben, who Barbara loved like her own. On May 7, 1995, they had their first date, and November 24, 1995, they were married. In 1997, their daughter Michelle was born, making their family complete. They made their way to Sundown in 1997, where Barbara worked at the Village Market for a number of years, before working for Sundown State Bank. She loved being with her family, especially creating all the fun memories with her grandchildren. Whether it was playing make-shift basketball in the house, building blanket forts for sleepovers, or coming up with fun games to play with them. She liked playing Yahtzee and bingo, drinking coffee, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Joan Lemaire; her husband Randy Hart; and mother-in-law Mona Hart.

She is survived by her children, Thomas and Jenni Hart, Ben Hart, Matt and Kyndall Lemaire, Michelle Hart, and Makayla and Kyle Greenhaw; siblings, Tom Lemaire, Mitch and Darlene Lemaire, Renee Gebhart, Marion and Doug Wallace, Kelly and Dale Hofmann, and Robert Lemaire; extended family Tom Hart, Ken and Lynn Hart along with thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Krestridge Funeral Home in Levelland, Texas. Burial to follow at a later date.
