Adrian Alaniz

Funeral services for Adrian Alaniz, age 43 of Seminole, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesleyan Grace Church with Pastor Charlie Johnson officiating. Services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Adrian Alaniz was born April 6, 1982 in Andrews, Texas to Gloria (Longoria) and Jose Alaniz. He married Betty Ross in Lubbock, Texas on March 17, 2012, and was a member of Wesleyan Grace Church. He worked as an MIT manager at Hibbett Sports for two years, and before that he worked for Standard Sales as a delivery driver. He loved sports, especially the Cowboys and UT Longhorns and enjoyed coaching his kids. He was a big collector of Pops and Sports cards. Adrian was a loving, caring man, yet a kid at heart, and a nerd at heart. When he and his wife would argue, he would lovingly say, "Iron Man is still better than Thor, and I Love You 3000!"

Adrian Alaniz passed away March 9, 2026 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, a paternal grandmother, and one cousin. He is survived by his wife, Betty Alaniz of Seminole, Texas; two sons, Nicholas Alaniz of Levelland, Texas, and Elijah Alaniz of the home; three daughters, Stephanie Alaniz of Levelland, Texas, and Aryanna and Serenity Alaniz, both of the home, four brothers, Joey Alaniz and wife Patricia of Seminole, Texas, Robert Alaniz and wife Monica of Odessa, Texas, Gabriel Alaniz and wife Amanda of Midland, Texas and Adam Alaniz of Midland, Texas; two stepbrothers, Miguel Armendariz of Lubbock, Texas and Jose Alfredo Armendariz of Lawton, Oklahoma; one stepsister, Martha Torres and husband Leonard of Lubbock, Texas; his father, Jose Alaniz and wife Irene of Lubbock, Texas; his mother, Gloria Longoria of Seminole, Texas; and two grandchildren.
