Our mother sadly passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 88. She was called to be in her Savior's arms in peace, happiness, joy and love. Visitation will be from 10-12:00pm at Pecan Grove Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Barbara Hernandez was born in Nixon, TX on January 6, 1936, to Juliana Garza Hernandez and Manuel Hernandez. Our mother was a wonderful mother to all her seven children. She taught us about the love of Jesus Christ. She was loved dearly by all that knew her. Our mom worked hard to take care of her children and always gave us good life advice even when life at times was very difficult for her. She loved us all and her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and many relatives. Our mom loved lots of flowers and plants planted and in containers, knitting and especially sewing! Our mom was a great cook too! We will all miss you dearly, Mom.
