Barbara A. (Conroy) Hollister, 86, of North Syracuse, peacefully passed away on Tuesday. She was a communicant of St. Margaret''s Church in North Syracuse, NY. Barbara was formerly employed by Liverpool School District where she worked as a school aide. She enjoyed crafts, geology, her camp, and spending time with her family. Barbara was an avid Yankee and SU basketball fan. She was predeceased by her loving husband, James; her sister, Carol Austin, and her brother, Gerald Conroy. Survivors include her two sons, Jim (Carolyn) and Mike (Cindy) Hollister both of Brewerton; her four grandchildren, Christina Hollister, Jessica (Nick) Raut, Julianna Hollister, and Brooke Hollister; her three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Ashley, and Austin as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday 5 to 7 pm at the Carter Funeral Home, 1604 Grant Blvd, Syracuse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am in St. Margaret's Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
