Barbara "Bobbi" Howell Obituary

Barbara "Bobbi" Carol (Bryant) Howell, 69, went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2025. She was holding both of her "New" hands up to the Lord, while her husband held those of her worldly body. She knew where she was going and it was her time. Always late for everything on this earth, but ready and waiting for the Lord to call her name.

Bobbi was born on January 19th, 1956 to Betty and Roscoe Bryant. Raised in North Vernon, Indiana, then raised her family in Seymour, and eventually moving to Indianapolis. During College she met the love of her life, Joseph Michael Howell. They were married September 6th, 1975. They created three wonderful boys, Jeremy, Will and Mike.

Over the years, Bobbi worked at different jobs, but they always seemed to be centered around what Joe and what the boys were doing and the Church. Photography was never her job, but it was definitely her passion. Not generic photos, but those of family and friends. Amassing not just boxes of photos, but truckloads. Her family was her life and she wanted to remember every second.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Joseph, their sons, Jeremy Wayne Howell (Anndrian), William Wade Howell (Heather), and Michael Joseph Howell (Becky). Grand Children: Lindsey Anna Howell (Caleb Tschaenn), Hayley Kristine Howell, Dylan Michael Howell (Kortni Hunter), Chesney Kay Reynolds, Marley Maybeth Traub (TJ Traub), Paxston Avert Allman, Brooklyn Nicole Howell, Aleena Rose Howell, Lincoln Christopher Howell, Zachary Conrad Howell, Claudia Lynn Howell. Great Grand Children: Braelynn Mackenzie Freeman, Malachi Joseph Tschaenn, Gracelynn Aleece Patrick, Emersynn Jo Patrick, and Stella Jade Howell. Father-in-law Orlis Wade "OW" Howell. Siblings: James T Bryant, Beverly Jo Bryant, Dannie Bryant (Sherry), Brenda Bowlen (Eddie), Lloyd Bryant (Beth), Penny Donato (Mike), and Greg Howell (Sheila)

Proceeding her in death and waiting for her at heavens gates, were her parents Roscoe Edwin Bryant, Betty Day Bryant Renn, her Mother-in-law, Audry Howell, and her siblings Edwin "Shot" Bryant and Mary Edith Broyles and Debbie Douglas.

Bobbi leaves behind so many friends and family that will miss her deeply but always remember that beautiful smile and laugh that was always so contagious. Remember: She did it her way!

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the service time at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Southport United Methodist Church, 1947 E. Southport Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227.
