Barbara Oletha Huneck

Barbara Huneck, age 88 of Grove City, OH passed away peacefully at her residence on April 30th, 2025. She was born on October 5th, 1936. She retired from the State of Ohio, Bureau of Unemployment. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was kind hearted, very organized and cared deeply for her family. She was married for 56 years to the love of her life, Richard. She was a loving mom to her son, Darryl, and loving second mom to her 3 step daughters, Sharon, Carol and Renae. 

She is preceded in death by her father, Luther Sark, Mother, Nellie Sark, sisters, Helen (Mike) Kosonovich, Betty (Ed) Lemoncelli, and brothers, Eugene (Ruth) Sark, Charles Sark, niece Renee Lemoncelli.

Survived by son, Darryl Myers, step daughters, Sharon Pappas, Carol (Dan) Henthorn and Renae (Bob) Schreck, grandchildren, Misty, Levi, Cindy, step grandchildren, Shane, Tara, Stephanie, Ben, Bobby, and Clint, several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren, and niece, Rhea Humphrey.

In honor of Barbara's memory, there will be a visitation and celebration of life on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest in Grove City, OH. Visitors are welcome at 10:00, with the following at the burial site at Concord Cemetary, Grove City, OH at 12:00.
